This is the branch of dentistry that involves improving the way your smile appears. This improvement can be subtle due to a minor change or quite a significant change depending on the procedure. At Spring Garden Dentistry, we have several treatment options that can improve the appearance of your smile.

Veneers
A veneer is a thin, lab fabricated porcelain facing that is bonded to the front of teeth. They can be used to improve the colour and shape of teeth, as well as closing spaces or masking a stained or cracked tooth.
Porcelain Crowns
Porcelain crowns can be placed on our front teeth, to improve their appearance. The crown is shaped and coloured to your specifications to give you a natural and satisfying esthetic appearance. Crowns are different from veneers in that they completely cover the underlying tooth structure 360°, while a veneer only covers the front of the tooth. In addition to great esthetic outcome, crowns tend to be quite stable over time.
Contouring
Esthetic contouring of teeth involves very minor changes that usually improve the shape or smoothness of teeth. Recontouring can be done if teeth are too long, rough, or pointed due to chipping or grinding.
Bonding
Bonding is the process by which tooth coloured filling material is bonded to natural tooth structure to improve shape and colour of tooth, and very commonly used to conservatively fix chipped and to close spaces. Bonding is usually less expensive and more conservative than veneers or crowns.
